Meet Our Counselor:  Kirk A. Sharrock, MA, MDiv., LPCC-S

Kirk is an independently licensed counselor, who has been practicing since 1997.  Kirk has a master’s degree in Divinity and Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary.  Kirk and his wife, Machelle, and two children are currently living in Marysville.  Kirk is a part of Arbor Counseling and also has an office in Dublin.   Kirk has a passion for working with clients in the counseling environment, to help clients make progress towards spiritual maturity and freedom in Christ. “The counseling environment can be a highly productive tool to examine, educate, and discover positive ways of coping with the stresses and challenges of everyday life as well as extremely challenging mental health circumstances.  Success in the counseling environment is highly correlated to the desire and the level of the commitment of the individual/s.  My hope is to help those individuals seeking counseling to obtain a mature and growing relationship with Christ.”

Where are the appointments held?

The appointments are held at the Marysville Church of Christ, or through telehealth, or at Kirk’s Dublin office.

How long is each session?

Each session will last about 45 minutes

Does Kirk’s counseling agency, Arbor Counseling, take insurance?

Arbor Counseling does take many insurances.  If you are using insurance, your portion of fees may vary based on individual contracts with your insurance company.  Arbor Counseling is happy to work with you but ask that you communicate with Arbor Counseling about any payment difficulties.  Please refer to the Arbor Counseling Client Information and Policy Statement form for more detailed information.  Arborcounseling.org

When is Payment Due?

Payment is due at the beginning of each session.

Arbor Counseling Fee Schedule

Individual, marital or family therapy:  $125 for a 45-50 minute session $125 for each additional hour prorated for every 15 minutes

Discounted Rate:

As a courtesy, Arbor Counseling offers a rate of $100 for a 45-50 minute session if all fees are paid at time of service and no insurance billing is involved.  Initial intake sessions are prices at $125
