The compassion ministry is a ministry that caters to families and friends that are in need whether it be due to a death in the family, a loss of a job, a birth, or some other circumstance. Basically, a situation where the church body can step in and offer some temporary relief to the family. This usually takes the form of church members organizing together to bring meals to the family every other day for a week or two, depending on the situation.
